Why the name change?

con·tin·u·um- noun

• a coherent whole characterized as a collection, sequence, or progression of values or elements varying by minute degrees

• a continuous sequence in which adjacent elements are not perceptibly different from each other, although the extremes are quite distinct.

• something that changes in character gradually or in very slight stages without any clear dividing points

Sunset Management Company was formed in 2019 after the acquisition of Sunset Rentals in Hilton Head, South Carolina. The last few years have seen us grow in many ways- by size, location, and philosophically. We decided to update the name of our business to reflect this.

When searching for a new business name, we wanted to capture the spirit of our beliefs and approach- to acquire great businesses, support them in ways that enhance already successful track records, and as best as possible preserve the heritage that each founder created while still evolving businesses to keep up with technology and trends.

Our current business profile allows for a vacation at every price point across the spectrum. Across these businesses, we aspire to share some common DNA- providing solid guest service, responsive owner relations, and an enhanced place of employment. We are a hospitality business first, but leverage technology to promote all of these ideals.

We take pride in our ability to retain the fundamental character of each business as we evolve and grow- something that we feel makes these businesses special in each location, and resonates with guests, owners, and team members.
